Visa Process

A visa is a conditional license provided by a territory to a foreigner to enter, remain in, or leave that country. Visas often include restrictions on the length of a foreigner's stay, the areas of the country into which they may travel, the days on which they may arrive, the number of permitted visits, and an individual's permission to work in the country in question. Visas are related to the request for permission to enter a territory and are thus distinct from legal approval for an alien to enter and reside in the country in most countries. A visa is subject to entrance permission by an immigration official at the time of actual entry in each case, and it can be canceled at any time.
