PRE-DEPARTURE BRIEFING

To ensure that students are prepared for international travel, Apvik Abroad Studies provides a pre-departure briefing session.

We educate students on a variety of topics, including the culture and customs of the new nation. Because cultural differences may cause friction with the locals, they are informed about appropriate behavior and etiquette to be maintained there. We advise them on processes to follow in the event of a medical or other emergencies.

They are also given information about basic utilities, bookstores, and safe entertainment options on campus.

In summary, the pre-departure briefing is a comprehensive information package that will enable less traveled young students to be self-sufficient in their new environment.
